

What is a brand?
A brand is a mere trust. Trust that consumers and investors have upon a company. It doesn’t matter how big or small the company is, trust rolls all the dice around the market table. your logo is not your brand but the story behind it is.
When I was young I came across this story of a lady who lost her young son to crossfire in Kashmir. She then told everyone the story about how her son asked for a new school bag that very day and she promised to stitch him one herself but he never returned home that evening.
So she stitched several bags everyday in grief. When this story went viral these bags were auctioned online and were sold 40 times it’s worth.
The lady did not have a logo, nor a company. All she had was a story and a good storyteller.
Every brand is a story and every story needs a storytellers and that’s what Advertising is.
